Exterior Fire Suppression Systems
When fire reaches your perimeter, defensible space buys you time. A suppression system gives your home a fighting chance.
How It Works
An exterior fire suppression system is a permanent water delivery system installed on your property designed to protect your structure when fire arrives. It is not a replacement for defensible space — it is the last line of defense after everything else has been done right.
A basic system includes a dedicated water storage tank (2,500 to 5,000 gallons) on your property, a gas or battery powered pump, and exterior sprinkler heads positioned on your roofline, eaves, and structure perimeter. Systems can be activated manually, by remote trigger, or automatically via temperature sensors. Advanced systems include smart sensors and app-based monitoring so you can trigger your system remotely if you have already evacuated.

Annual System Maintenance
A suppression system is only as good as its last maintenance check. Ember Guard provides annual maintenance visits that include tank inspection, pump testing, sprinkler head cleaning, freeze protection check, and full system test with documentation.
Annual maintenance pricing: $300 to $500 per year per system. Maintenance customers receive priority scheduling during fire season and a written system health report after every visit.
A Note on Installation
Every exterior suppression system Ember Guard installs meets California code requirements. We handle the licensing and compliance - you just get a working system.
